09/05/08 Request for absentee ballots commences.
08/06/08 Last day for submission of nominating petitions and candidacy documents.
09/15/08 Last day for voter registration for 2008 general election (Registrants after 4:30 pm will not be accepted).
10/05/08 Deadline for application to vote in another municipality.
10/20/08 Desination of polling places.
10/28/08 Posting/distribution of specimen ballots.
10/26/08 Absentee voting for emergency absence commences.
10/25/08 Deadline for application for absentee voting (Applications received after 4:30 pm will not be granted ABS).
11/04/08 2008 General Election (Polls opened from 7:00 am-7:00 pm).
11/03/08 Last day for absentee voting for emergency absence.
11/18/08 Last day for receipt of absentee ballots (Final collection of ballots at US Post Office at 12:00pm).
11/18/08 Counting and tabulation of all absentee ballots.
 **Campaign Financial Reports must be filed with the Federal Election Commission**
12/04/08 Removal of all campaign materials from public places.
01/03/08 Elected Official Assumes Office.
07/07/08 Last day to establish lawful residency requirement.
